INTEGRITY: LOCKED

Did you lock the house? Oh! I forgot to lock the car! … Why don’t you listen to mom and guard your stuff?

Sure, it is important to put a lock and keep things safe. Things lost can be bought. However, there is something that cannot be regained or procured no matter how hard we work. Working over time won’t help procure integrity as the big marts won’t sell it.

Integrity is adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character and honesty. Psychologists feel that it is one of the most puzzling words. Used synonymously with “moral”, “virtues” and yet more, it could be used to define character, ethics and principles.

To make this simple, integrity includes all the good deposits that God gave us... or entrusted to us. Like; truthfulness, reliability, faithfulness, love, peace and uprightness.

Now, does this leave you pondering? Why am I taking about locks and integrity? Here is a question for you: When was the last time you put a lock on your integrity?

…Dazed?

I am sure you want to keep your virtues. Stay happy, joyous, trustworthy and reliable. The ‘key to this is to lock with the Holy Spirit.’ Bibles talks about a way to guard the good deposits that God gave us. No worries, even if you have lost your integrity on the way? Seek it from God. He will restore it and will help you keep it safe.

“By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.”

2 Timothy 1:14

There is a promise: by the Holy Spirit we will definitely be able to guard our integrity.. He is the spirit of God that is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. He is the God.

Ask Jesus right now to bless you with Integrity and to guard it.
