If God appoints...He anoints too!


I was all lost as my immediate boss is on a really long leave and I had to do all the work that she did (its not that I did not do my own job!!)... A lot of work; believe me and that too without getting a final brush up from her.

And her job involves talking some critical decisions. Initially I was all lost but a thought changed it all and got me kicking!!! ... I remembered something that the bible says - If God appoints...He anoints too!
This made me realize the great security I have in Jesus. And believe me I have never enjoyed working extra as I did today!

When God favors!

Yesterday was my hubby's birthday! In order to thank God we organized a thanksgiving service and the pastor said very clearly that the one who gets God's special favor will get human favor automatically!

This is so true for both of us and I guess for many more. Often we try hard to impress people just to win little favors, but this does not work.

I know of a girl who has been using all the ways possible to win the favor of her parents. And she has been getting all that her parents have (they are a brother and sister .. the sister does not like the brother and is fooling parents about the son)

I was shocked to see this family where the real sister is dead against the brother who serves God (he is a pastor) and the parents too support only the girl. All they want is that the son should leave the house etc.

But something that is even more amazing is that in spite of the hatred that they throw at him...God manifests his very pure love in the son's life and he gets many more blessings!
I was really happy for this guy and his wife as God has various ways to show His love in their lives.
I guess it was good for this son to be in a horrible condition because that gave a chance to God to show His great presence in their life.

Jesus is the real God who is strong when we are week!

I am the bread of life ... said Jesus

Coffee and bread! Wow! I love to have a slice of bread with Coffee. I know many might not find this a perfect combination but I love it!

Talking about bread reminds me of Sheenu; my colleague. She too is madly in love with Jesus.

This morning she spoke about Jesus saying that He is the bread of life. And the Jews (Jesus' time) misunderstood Him. They thought that he is being arrogant... Poor guys did not understand that he called himself 'the bread; anyone who eats from me will never be hungry'. Sheenu said, Jesus meant that all you have to do is make a decision to follow Him and he will become zero like bread. (Remember we eat bread not to leave anything, we consume it) this reflects the great humility of Jesus!

All Jesus wants us to do is to make a choice and start following Him and in turn He is willing to zero Himself and give us all that He has. He is going to satisfy us.

How deep is the love that He has for us! Jesus is truly my Hero!!
